Returns & Exchange Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn’t quite right, this policy explains how to return, exchange, or get a replacement for your order on Klane.
Klane is a marketplace, which means your order is fulfilled by the brand directly. Returns and quality checks are handled by the brand, while Klane coordinates the end-to-end experience, including reverse pick-up and refund processing.
1. Return Window
You can raise a return or exchange request within 7 calendar days from the date your order is delivered. Requests raised after this window cannot be processed, unless required under applicable law.
2. What You Can Return
You can return a product for reasons such as:
- Change of mind
- Size doesn’t fit
- Product doesn’t match your expectations
Quality issues such as defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially different products are handled separately under the Replacement section below, at no cost to you.
To be eligible for a return, items should be unused, unwashed, and returned in their original condition with all tags, labels, and original packaging intact.
3. How to Raise a Return Request
Sign in to your Klane account, go to ‘My Orders’, select the item you want to return, and choose a reason. Once submitted, we will schedule a free reverse pick-up from your delivery address.
Reverse pick-ups are usually attempted within 2 to 4 business days. Please keep the item ready in its original packaging. You do not need to print any label — the delivery executive will carry one.
4. Free Return Pick-up
Return shipping is on us. You will not be charged for reverse pick-up on any eligible return, exchange, or replacement raised within the return window.
5. Refunds
Once the returned item is received by the brand, it goes through a quick quality check within 48 hours. After the check is cleared, your refund is processed. Your refund options depend on how you paid for the order:

Klane store credit is added to your account and can be used towards future purchases on the Platform. You will be able to see the credit balance under your account wallet.
If the returned item fails the quality check (for example, it is used, washed, missing tags, or damaged by the customer), the brand may decline the return. In such cases, we will reach out to you before sending the item back.
6. Size Exchanges
Got the size wrong? No problem.
- One free size exchange per item: You get one free size exchange per item within the 7-day return window.
- How it works: Raise an exchange request from ‘My Orders’, choose the new size, and we will arrange a free reverse pick-up. Once the original item is received and checked, the brand ships the replacement in your new size.
- Beyond one exchange: If you wish to exchange the same item more than once, it will be treated as a return, and you can place a fresh order for the size you need.
- Subject to availability: Exchanges depend on stock in your preferred size. If the size isn’t available, we will offer a refund or store credit instead.
7. Replacements for Quality Issues
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, incorrect, or materially different from what you ordered, you are entitled to a free replacement at no cost to you.
To help us resolve this quickly, please share clear photos or a short video of the product and packaging when raising the request. Our team will verify the issue and coordinate a replacement with the brand. The brand has 48 hours to confirm the replacement.
Replacement orders are dispatched as soon as the return is picked up and verified. If the exact item is unavailable, we will offer you a refund or store credit.
8. Items That Cannot Be Returned
In some cases, returns or exchanges may not be possible — for example:
- Items used, washed, damaged or altered after delivery.
- Items returned without original tags, labels, or packaging.
- Items marked “Sale” or on promotional discounted pricing.
- Items marked “Made-to-Order” as these pieces are custom-made upon order confirmation.
- Requests raised after the 7-day return window has ended.
If a specific product category has additional restrictions, this will be mentioned clearly on the product page before you place the order.
9. Cancellations
You can cancel an order before it is dispatched by going to ‘My Orders’ and selecting ‘Cancel Order’. Once a cancellation is confirmed, refunds follow the same process as returns — prepaid amounts are refunded to the original payment method or as store credit, and Partial COD partial payments are refunded as store credit.
Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled but can be returned after delivery under this policy.
