Shipping Policy

Thanks for shopping with Klane. This Shipping Policy explains how your order moves from the brand to your doorstep — from order confirmation to delivery. By placing an order on klane.in or the Klane mobile app, you agree to the terms below.
Klane is an online marketplace where independent brands list and sell their products directly to customers. Once you place an order, the brand prepares and dispatches it; Klane coordinates the experience from start to finish.
1. Order Processing
Once your order is placed and payment is confirmed, we notify the brand immediately. The brand then prepares your order for dispatch based on the product type:
- Ready-to-ship products: Dispatched within 2 business days of order confirmation.
- Made-to-order products: These items are crafted after you place your order. The brand will deliver the order to you within 14 calendar days of the order date. If a specific product has a different timeline, it will be clearly mentioned on the product page before you place the order.
You will receive an order confirmation email and SMS once your order is successfully placed, and a dispatch notification with tracking details once the brand hands over your parcel to the courier.
2. Delivery Timelines
After dispatch, delivery times depend on your location and the courier. In most cases, orders reach metro cities faster than Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns. Your dispatch email will share an estimated delivery window and a tracking link so you can follow your package in real time.
Please note that delivery timelines are estimates. Unforeseen events such as weather disruptions, courier delays, strikes, or local restrictions may occasionally affect delivery. We will do our best to keep you informed if that happens.
3. Payment Options
Klane supports two ways to pay for your order:
3.1 Prepaid
Pay the full order amount at checkout using any of the payment methods available on the Platform (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, etc.). Your order moves directly into processing once payment is confirmed.
3.2 Partial COD
With Partial COD, you pay a small amount upfront at checkout and the remaining balance in cash at the time of delivery. The partial amount helps the brand confirm your order intent and begin preparation. The balance is collected by the delivery executive when your order is handed over.
Please keep exact change ready for the Cash on Delivery portion. Payment must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
4. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by email. You can also track any active order anytime by signing in to your Klane account and visiting the ‘My Orders’ section.
If a tracking link has not been updated for more than 48 hours, please reach out to our support team and we will check with the courier on your behalf.
5. Delivery Address and Availability
Please make sure the delivery address, phone number, and pin code you enter at checkout are accurate and complete. Incorrect or incomplete addresses are one of the most common reasons for delivery delays.
Someone should be available at the delivery address to receive the order. If a delivery attempt fails, the courier will usually reattempt delivery up to two more times before returning the parcel.
6. Undelivered and Returned Orders
If your order cannot be delivered after multiple attempts — for example, because the address is incorrect, the recipient is unreachable, or delivery is refused — the parcel will be returned to the brand. How this is handled depends on your payment type:
- Prepaid orders: A prepaid order that cannot be delivered despite reasonable attempts is treated as a completed sale, as you have already paid in full and the order was prepared and shipped in good faith. Please ensure accurate address details and availability to avoid this.
- Partial COD orders: If the order cannot be delivered, the partial payment already collected at checkout is not refunded, as it compensates the brand for preparing and attempting fulfilment of your order. The remaining COD amount is simply not collected.
If you foresee an issue with delivery (travel, address change, etc.), please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to help reschedule or redirect the order where the courier allows.
7. Damaged or Missing Parcels
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged or tampered with, we recommend refusing delivery and contacting us right away. If you only notice damage after opening the parcel, please share clear photos of the packaging and product within 48 hours of delivery so we can resolve it quickly under our Returns & Exchange Policy.
8. Shipping Charges
Any applicable shipping charges will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order. If shipping is free or promotional, this will be clearly indicated on the cart or checkout page.
9. Serviceability
Klane currently delivers across India. You can check whether we ship to your location by entering your pin code on the product page or at checkout. If we cannot service your pin code, you will see a message at checkout before payment.
